Alvin Hutt of Tolstoi, MB passed away Aug. 1, 2006 at Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach at the age of 65. He was born Jan 28, 1941. Alvin was an active member of the Tolstoi and District Seniors Inc, serving for many years on the board and presently as vice president. He will be dearly missed at the seniors’ events such as being the caller at the Bingos. He enjoyed square dancing, playing cribbage and being Santa at the Christmas party. He also enjoyed taking part in community events. Alvin had a pleasant disposition and will be remembered for his kindness and his wonderful sense of humour. He will be sadly missed by all the seniors. Alvin will be remembered by his sister Beverly (Walter) Liwczak and their family; brothers Earl and Gordon (Noreen) and their families; nine nieces, two nephews, 13 great nieces, three great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Alvin was predeceased by his parents Edd Hutt (Nov. 29, 1989) and Alvina Hutt (May 23, 1996), brother Bob (Dec. 17, 1967). The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to cousins Eleanor and Joyce for being there for him and to the doctors and nurses who took care of him in Bethesda Hospital. A devotional will take place Sat., Aug. 5 at 7:30 pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, August 6 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Friedensthal, MB
