Peacefully on December 9, 2000 at the Bethesda Hospital, George K. Stoesz passed away at the age of 80 years. He leaves to mourn his passing one son Cornelius and wife Yolande Stoesz, of Ste. Anne, MB, four daughters; Esther and Peter Martens of Steinbach, Rose Stoesz of Kelowna, BC, Brenda and Bruce Reimer of Beaverlodge, AB and Joey and Ernie Dyck of Steinbach, 12 grandchildren , 8 great-grandchildren and one sister Helen Remple in South America. He was predeceased by his wife Helen in 1997, one grandson Justin Dyck in 1981 sister Nettie Krause of South America and one brother Peter Stoesz of Red Lake Ontario. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2000 – 10:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with Pastor John M. Wiebe officiating Interment in the Randolph Cemetery. Viewing will be prior to the service and on Tuesday evening December 12 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m followed with a devotional by Pastor Dan T. Warkentin. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Manitoba Lung Association.
