Peacefully, on March 24, 2001, Marie-Anne Legal left us for a better home. She was predeceased by her husband Henri in 1955 and sons Georges at age 6 months and Francois at age one year, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a son-in-law Albert Rivard. She is survived by 13 children Germaine Rivard, Yvonne Champagne, Louis and Aline, Claire and Aurèle Nault, Michel and Angèle, Marie-Rose and Roland Ross, Céline and Roger Ross, Lucienne and Frank Martens, Claude and Irma, Jean, Paul and Marie-Louise, Gérard and Sandy, Gilberte and Lee Guêtre, Juliette, 66 grandchildren, 142 great grandchildren, 30 great great grandchildren, one sister Antoinette Perreault, one brother-in-law and several sisters-in-law. Viewing will be held at the Ste. Anne Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. Gérard Desrosiers presiding. The funeral mass will be held at the Ste. Anne Catholic Church on March 28 at 2:00 p.m., Father Pierre Dumaine officiating. Viewing will be half an hour before the mass. Interment will take place at a later date.
