Margaret (Wiebe) Thiessen passed peaceably into the Lord’s hands on April 18, 2001 at Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Edgar (Agnes Loeppky), Rose (Rod) Whitefield, daughter-in-law Mary Pohl, Della (Dick) Peters; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a number of step grandchildren, 5 sisters and 2 brothers. She was predeceased by her loving husband Abram F. Thiessen on April 26, 1977, 2 sons Abie in 1943 at the age of 2 years and Leonard in 1976 at the age of 29 years. She was also predeceased by 2 brothers. Margaret was born on January 13, 1919 in Randolph to the late Rev. & Mrs. Peter F. Wiebe. Margaret will be fondly remembered for her love for her Lord and the love for her children. She was a wonderful prayer warrior. The funeral service will be held Monday, April 23, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. Interment at Heritage Cemetery. Viewing was held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Sunday, April 22, 6 – 7:00 p.m. with a devotional. Donations may be made to Union Gospel Mission.
