Our mother passed away January 10, 2002. We are grateful for the many good things that she brought into our lives; hopeful about her new home in heaven, and yet saddened by her sudden death. Marianne Rempel is survived by her best friend and loving husband Henry, two sons Gerry (Sharon) and grandsons Jarret and Evan of Niverville; and Al (Brenda) of Winnipeg. She will be missed by her siblings: two brothers and one sister; Dad’s siblings; many nieces, nephews and friends of her community. A companion, a friend, a mom, an encourager, a cheerleader, a disciple of Jesus Christ – she shared her best with us and we will miss her. The funeral service for Marianne Rempel was held Sunday, January 13, 2002 at the Niverville Mennonite Church with interment at Hespeler Cemetery; Niverville, MB.
