EDNA (FRIESEN) BRANDT, age 92, of Steinbach MB passed away October 28, 2006, at the Menno Home, Grunthal MB. Edna was born to John & Elizabeth Friesen on February 16th, 1914, near Stern, AB. She is predeceased by her husband, Peter E. F. Brandt, on June 30, 1990; son Peter in 1987 and a daughter Anne in 1988. She is survived by nine children; Jenny, June, Bob, Steve, Violet, Jim, Susan, Tina and David and their families; as well as two sisters, Vera and Grace. The family expresses deep gratitude to the staff at Menno Home for all their loving care, and to Pastor Abe Funk who has been a wonderful pastor to our Mom. Viewing will be 7:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 1st, 2006 at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 2nd at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB.
