Henry T. Schalla of Steinbach passed away at the Bethesda Hospital on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the age of 68. He is survived by two daughters Angela and Joanne, three grandchildren, six step children and their families; sisters Henrietta (Bill) Reimer, Elsie Mintern, Martha (Frank) Plett, Thelma Funk, Helen ( Wally) Pletz. Margaret (Bob) Rentzand, one brother Ronald (Rita) Schalla, sisters-in-law Tillie Schalla and Anne Schalla. He was pre-deceased by one grandchild, parents Herman and Caroline Schalla, three brothers, four sisters, four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law. Viewing will be held Monday, November 6 at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach at 7:00 p.m. with at devotional at 8:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service The funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 7 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 465 Henry St, Steinbach at 1:30 p.m. with interment at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
