Horace Harel Horace passed away on November 13, 2006 at the St. Boniface Hospital. He was born August 28, 1936 and lived his early childhood years in the Marchand area, later moving to Winnipeg, and the last 11 years in Mitchell. He was predeceased by his mother Sarah, father Alphonse and sister Irene. He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years Margaret, children and their spouses: Della (Carlin), Kelly (Nicole), Randy (Robin), grandchildren Jerrett, Ravyn, Erin, Austin, Danielle, Justin and great grand daughter Kya; as well as sisters Alice, Doris, Cecile, nephew/friend Ron and his daughter Nicole. Horace is well known for his 40 years of hard work and many accomplishments at Arctic Ice where he eventually became co-owner. Many thanks to all his friends, neighbors, relatives and the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital for all their support and efforts through these trying times. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach on Friday, Nov 17 at 2 p.m. Ash interment to follow at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined.
