Obituary of Esther Ruth Kroeker

Esther Ruth Kroeker With heavy hearts we, the family, announce the peaceful, but sudden passing of our wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Monday, January 1, 2007 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB. She was born in Herbert, SK on November 22, 1930. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Richard of 55 years, her sons Michael and Leona and their children Joel (Heather), Derek (Issa), Donovan, Chad; son Clyde and children Karl, Amber (Mark Klassen); son Leonard and Lori and their children Erin (Jeremy Plett) Dana (Evan Schroeder), Kali (Ira Dyck); daughter Teresa and Jim Hudson and their children Tamara (George Wagner), Robin (Marvin Reimer), Landon, Charlene; daughter Valerie and Alec Kehler and their children Brenton, Carissa; and great grandchildren Alexis, Corman, Ethan, Matthew, Jeffrey, Hadden, Jade. She is also survived by five sisters and one brother and their families. She was predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Letkeman, one son Edward Roy on January 1, 1961 and by two brothers Johnny and Ron. Mom loved seeing her family, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren to whom she was very generous. She was always very accepting of new family members as they joined the Kroeker family. We know that mom is at peace with Jesus. Thanks to the staff at Bethesda Hospital, who looked after mom during her week long stay in the hospital. The funeral service will be held Monday, January 8 at 2 p.m. at the Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, 360 McKenzie Ave, Steinbach, MB with viewing prior to the service. Interment at Heritage Cemetery.
