Connie Lynn Bergen It is with deep regret that we announce the sudden death of our daughter Connie Lynn Bergen. Connie passed away on Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital. Connie was 17 years old (three days short of her eighteenth birthday). She is survived by her loving parents, Ed and Anne Bergen of Grunthal; one brother, Brian, and one sister, Jessica; her grandparents, Cornie and Anne Giesbrecht of Bolivia; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Connie was born in Steinbach MB and was in grade 12 at Green Valley School. Connie was predeceased by three sisters and grandparents Jake and Anne Bergen. Connie was very involved working alongside both her mom and dad. She was a very hard worker at both their cabinet shop and restaurant. Connie was also very involved with the Grunthal Elim youth group. She will be missed dearly for her great big smiles and helping hands. The Funeral Service will be held at the Grunthal Bergthaler Mennonite Church on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007 at 2:00 pm. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive. Steinbach, MB on Monday, Jan. 8 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. with a devotional to follow. The Bergen family would like to express thanks for the many visits, cards, meals and prayers from friends and family.
