Justina Broesky (nee Friesen), 94, of Steinbach passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, January 11, 2007. She was born in the Hanover Municipality on September 1, 1912. Justina was predeceased by her husband John D. Broesky (2002), daughters Margaret (1939) and Mary (1991), son Johnny (2000), daughters-in-law Vicki and Frieda, son-in-law Jay and two great grandchildren. She is survived by son-in-law Henry Lepp (Anna), daughter-in-law Helen Broesky (Johnny), son Abe (Helen), Martin (Janice), Jake (Bettie), Cornie (Vicki), Alvina Zulak (Leonard), Helen Koop (Abe), Peter (Edith), Frank (Linda), Bill (Susan), Shirley Tipman (Jay), Ken, Dennis (Sharon), Ronnie and 37 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister Ann Krahn of Steinbach and one sister-in-law Margaret Friesen of British Columbia. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Monday, January 15, 2007 at 7 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, January 16 at 2 p.m. with interment at Heritage Cemetery.
