<p>It is with great sadness that on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at 12:36 p.m., we lost our father, brother, uncle and friend; Michael Kantimere, age 62, of Tolstoi, MB., formerly of Rosa, MB., after his courageous battle with cancer.</p> <p>He leaves behind to cherish in his memory, daughters: Leah (Mike) and Ashley (Danny), his two grandchildren: Austin and Saydee, brother Eugene (Olga), sisters: Jean, Nellie, Mary and friend Nancy.</p> <p>He was predeceased by his parents Michael &amp; Mary, sisters; Olga, Anne, Rosie and Elsie, brothers-in-law: Mike, Peter, Maurice, John, Stan, Larry T. and Larry W. and his in-laws Steve &amp; Elsie.</p> <p>A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with reception to follow.</p> <p>Interment will be held at a later date.</p> <p>The family would like to thank the staff at De Salaberry District Health Centre for the compassion and care provided during Dad&rsquo;s final weeks.</p> <p>Donations in memory of Michael may be made to De Salaberry District Health Centre Foundation (In memo line: Palliative Care).</p>
