<p>On Saturday, October 19, 2019, Louise Falk, age 93 years, passed away peacefully at Bethesda Place, Steinbach, MB., her home for the last 3 1/2 years.</p> <p>Louise leaves to mourn her children Clarence, Norman (Connie), Gordon (Joanne), Beverly and her grandchildren Jarrod (Megan), Dana, Eric (Andrea), Ian (Brittany), Whitney (Ryan), and Amy (Christian), her great-grandchildren Nora, Quinn, Piper, Hannah and Ethan. She is also survived by one brother-in-law Peter Harder and numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Louise was predeceased by her husband Dave of 62 years.</p> <p>Mom worked beside Dad for the City of Steinbach for 23 years until their retirement. She enjoyed her trips to Detroit Lakes with Dad for many years. Mom really enjoyed shopping for clothes and always came home with a good supply of dishcloths, tea towels, washcloths and towels for the girls. Mom loved making Christmas cookies and having the children and grandchildren home for visits. Mom's favorite saying was "hungry as a wolf" obviously, she loved the food at the home. Mom also loved her peonies that surrounded the house when they were in full bloom.</p> <p>Mom walked closely with the Lord throughout her life. Her faith remained strong till the Lord took her home where we know she'll be waiting to greet us one day.</p> <p>The family would like to thank the caring staff at Bethesda Place as well as the support of family, friends, Pastor Terry Gudmundson and Pastor Al Maier for all the help over the years and kept her in their thoughts and prayers.</p> <p>The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Steinbach, MB with a viewing prior to the service.</p> <p>Interment will be held at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB., with reception at the church following the burial.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Memorial Fund or Canadian Cancer Society &ndash; Manitoba Division 193 Sherbrook Street; Wpg., MB R3C 2B7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
