Obituary of Céline A. Beaudry

Surrounded by her family, Céline A. Beaudry (nee Sarrasin) passed away at the Ste. Anne Hospital on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the age of 88. 

Céline was the daughter of Ovide and Marie-Flore (Fillion).  She was born on March 3, 1931 and was the fifth child of 16.  On October 17, 1953, she married Joseph Beaudry of South Junction, MB., and were together for 47 years. 

Together they had seven boys and two girls: Gilbert (Lise) of St. Joseph, MB., Omer of South Junction, MB., David of South Junction, MB., Philippe (Mae) of Greenbush, MN., Roger (Terri) of Middlebro, MB., Denise (Stanley Usiski) of Rainy River, ON., Richard of South Junction, MB., Suzanne (Chuck Sorenson) of Roseau, MN. She is survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by five sisters: (Lucie (Lionel), Rita (David), Denise (Aurele), Marie-Anne (Henri) and Rose-Marie (Gerald); three brothers Philippe, Felix (Adele), Noel (Louise); brother-in-law Edouard and sister-in-law Marie.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, son Marcel, daughter-in-law Jane, six brothers, and one sister.

Mom went to Tache School up to Grade 7 and then to St. Jean Convent for Grade 8.  There was no more schooling for her as she had to stay home to help out.  Mom would often say she wished that she could have finished school to become a school teacher, instead she spent her time teaching us.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Notre Dame de L’Asomption Catholic Church in South Junction, MB., on Monday, December 2, 2019, with prayers and viewing at 1:30 with funeral mass to follow at 2:00 p.m..  Interment at the parish cemetery.  Following the interment, reception will be held at the Vassar Hall in Vassar, MB.
