Obituary of Diane White

Diane Loraine White, 97 years, of Steinbach, Manitoba, passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness, on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at her residence, Heritage Personal Care Home, Niverville, Manitoba.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald Lyle White and their daughter Sherran, as well as three grandchildren: Thomas, Scott and Suzanne; sister-in-law Yvonne Peterson, son-in-law Craig Ross, and eight great grandchildren: Bryce, Tarran, Taylor, Makayla, Zak, Halle, Carmyn, and Kayleigh; and sister Elsie Merkley.

She was predeceased by her mother, father, and ten siblings.

Diane was married 62 years. She retired as a credit manager for a large US department store, in 1986. Her hobbies and interests included reading, walking, collecting dolls, talking politics, and gardening.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Heritage Personal Care Home, Niverville, for their professional and personal care.

As per her request, there will be no memorial service.

If friends so desire, donations in Diane’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
