Paul was(and is) a great man of God! I got the privilege of playing some board games and listening to some worship songs with Paul.(and praying for others!) He radiated kindness, love, and compassion for others (and most importantly a deep love for Jesus!) He was always a good sport (even when I would beat him at a game!) Though he sure did like to win ;) Until we meet again in Glory my friend! - Terell Moquin

Paul was my cousin and a nephew to my dad, Frank Doerksen. After my mom, Mary, had a stroke she was Paul's neighbor in the units on Main St. We noticed how Paul became her close friend. Hilde Friesen

My prevailing general memory of Paul is how unconditionally friendly he was at each one of our meeting throughout my entire lire. Paul was also so grateful for anything he received; many years after they had move off the farm and both parent had left this earth I picked up Paul from his Grunthal adult stay home and drove all over the old haunts, starting with the old farm where he had grown up, while many things had changed since the move off the farm, there were significant similarities that jugged his memories and brought a tear to his eye. We drove down the road to see dear Uncle Frank Doerksen farm, the Dear Dave Doerksen farm and landed up past the remains of our old place. We visited all the places in that area including his brother Peter's place, the place where the Woolwhich School had once stood and of course the placed that belonged to brother Peter's Children now. When we were finished Paul once again expressed his gratitude emphatically.
Paul was a man of gratitude and peace throughout his and that is how I will remember him!

Paul and our Dad (Mr. Peter H. Froese) lived at Grunthal Main Street Units for a number of years. Paul was a dear companion and friend to our Dad. He would often visit Dad and share items of interest. As a family we where happy that they had this bond of friendship. Dad really enjoyed and treasured Paul's friendship over the years. Thank you Paul. Rest in Peace.
