Mom was born on September 9, 1939.  She lived in La Broquerie most of her life and raised her family on the ancestral homestead.  She spent her life caring and loving children of multiple families around La Broquerie.  Mom loved gardening, playing games, hosting family gatherings, praying, but mostly spending time with her family.  Mom was a devout catholic.  You could count on her prayers and seeing her beautiful face at mass every day.  She always reminded her children and grandchildren to never forget their prayers. Our family was blessed with the most selfless, caring, loving, patient, devoted, angel, our mom and wife, Dolo.

A private family service will be held on Saturday, May 9th at 10:00 a.m. at Paroisse Saint-Joachim, La Broquerie, MB.

Due to Covid-19, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

If family and friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the memory of Dolores Champagne to the Heart and Stroke foundation.

Special thanks to the doctors and amazing nurses at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre, in addition, to the Palliative Care nurses.

Words cannot describe our heartache and grief, but we know God has welcomed her home!
