Obituary of Nancy Krahn

Nancy Krahn, 56, of Steinbach, MB., passed away suddenly at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB., on Sunday, May 10, 2020.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Lyndon and their three children: Victoria Wiebe (Mark), Curtis Krahn (Ashley), and Benita Krahn of Steinbach, MB., her siblings: Margaretha Harder (Abe), Abe Dyck (Helen), Tina Wiebe (Bill), Pedro Dyck (Anita), John Dyck (Ladine), and Helena Harder (Bill). She was also the loving grandmother of Athena (Benita). Nancy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Nancy was predeceased by her sister Susan.

She was born in Cuauhtemoc, Mexico on August 28, 1963, daughter of the late Peter and Margaretha (Knelsen) Dyck.

Spending time with family was most important. She enjoyed crafting, baking, gardening, singing, playing piano, and organizing beautiful events. Nancy loved to host and welcome everyone into her home. 

Nancy attended Gospel Fellowship Church. She always fought the good fight and determined to rise above any challenge and make the most of any situation. She loved Jesus and loved her family dearly. 

Special thanks to Marge Unrau, her respite provider and dear friend who helped her with her many hobbies, projects, and was overall just an amazing friend. Also to family and friends for their continued prayers and support. 

Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private family funeral has been planned for Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. 

A public come and go viewing will take place at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 from 8:00 - 10:00 P.M.  Please remain in your vehicles until you are ushered into the building by funeral home staff.
