Obituary of Michael Zahradnik

It is with great sadness that the family of Mike Zahradnik announce his passing on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at the age of 64 years.  Mike will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

Mike was very comfortable in his own skin, and always comfortable with other people; always accepting others as they were.  Mike always had advice or a good story, and would always tell you the truth, even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear.  You always knew where you stood with him.  He liked you or he didn't, it was black and white.  But Mike was blessed with many very good friends and neighbors who meant so much to him.  His circle of friends was immense and included people from everywhere he went.

Mike loved animals dearly.  He was always known to have a house full of pets in need of a loving home.  Mike's door was always open for a four-legged friend.  There was nothing or no one that could replace his cats.

Mike was an automotive enthusiast.  His passion for cars started at a young age and never ceased.  There was never a time when you spoke to Mike that he hadn't bought another vehicle.  You would often find Mike tinkering in the shop, at car shows, or going for a cruise.

Mike always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  

A celebration of Mike's life will be held at a later date.
