Obituary of Maureen Bonnie Pirrie

Maureen Bonnie (Moe) Pirrie, aged 72 years, of Landmark, MB., passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB. 

She is survived by her sister Janice Kennedy, brothers Danny and David Galloway, husband Wes Pirrie, daughters Brenda Galloway and Corrie (Greg) Huszar and son Eddie Watson, Nicole (Ivo) Dumancic, Boni (Darryl) Benner, grandchildren Brittney & Larissa Huszar, Xander Dumancic, Jacob & Riley Benner.

Moe is predeceased by her parents, Harvey & Gail Galloway and her brother-in-law, Gord Kennedy. 

She was a well known certified Ceramics Teacher and artist within Winnipeg and parts of Southern Manitoba.  She developed countless friendships and extended families through this endeavour as it was a career that spanned decades.  Her friends and family admired her for her strong willed personality, yet kind and giving nature.  She will be deeply mourned by her family and missed by so many that knew her as she was a true one of a kind.

A celebration of Life will be held  on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the Heartland Church in Landmark, MB., as well as LIVE Streamed over Facebook LIVE for those that cannot attend or wish to avoid gatherings due to Covid-19.

A special thank you goes out to the nurses and doctors at Steinbach's Bethesda Hospital for the amazing care and friendship they provided her through these trying times.  You have no idea what this meant to her and her family.  Moe would want you to be recognized.
