We just finished watching the Celebration Of Life event. It was very interesting to watch and to learn a lot we had not known about your dad and your whole family. I also recall your dad often speaking to me at the famous Schellenberg gatherings.
He was certainly a man of passion and purpose. He left a great legacy of faith and perseverance.
We offer our condolences to you Ken and Frieda and all the rest of the families. May you find comfort in the reality that your dad is in a much better place.
Love and prayers; Rudy and Esther Ewert

What a beautiful service today, honouring and celebrating your dad and Opa. I am so grateful to have been a part of it, when normally I'm too far away to attend. I echo the things already said about him. For me what stands out about Uncle Peter is his ready smile and his desire to connect and converse and of course his seemingly boundless love of life and God. My heart is with you all in your loss.
Big hugs and much love, cousin, Joy Schellenberg

Beautiful service and tribute. The many memories brought warmth to my heart remembering growing up at Sargent with Mr. Friesen's "short stories". Life seemed simple then, but only because of the hardships endured before us. He made many lives better. Thanks Peter for sharing yours with us.

I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Frieda and Ken and your families. I am inspired by Uncle Peter's life story. I did not know of his struggles and his perseverance in light of those struggles. I love the comment "obsessed with Tina Schellenberg" so good :). Uncle Peter always made an effort to engage me in conversation and also encouraged me in my faith journey. At our Schellenberg Family gatherings he always shared some wonderful stories. I am thankful for his strong life of faith and trust in Jesus. Blessings to all of you as both mourn and celebrate the life of your Dad today.

Our very deepest sympathies to the family. Peter and Tina were our first neighbours when we built our new home on Friesen Road. They were wonderful neighbours and have been greatly missed since they moved away. They have both always been fondly remembered as Mr. Friesen, Peter and Mrs. Friesen, Tina by our boys. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
