We express our sincere condolences to the Marten family on the passes of their mother and grandmother, Betty. My wife and I knew Bill and Betty in our younger years and have fond memories of them. Bill and I attended the same church at Mayfeld during our growing up years, and we were neighbors to the knox's on the farm near Gladstone. Betty and her siblings and I attended the Valley Stream School in the 1950's. The knox and the Martens were good families and Bill and Betty were a great couple. we will all miss them. As a family, may the God of all comfort, comfort and strengthen you during this time of grief. God cares and He will care for you as you continue to trust Him on your pilgrimage here on earth.
