Thank you to all the children and grandchildren for their wonderful tributes to the remarkable Aunt Anne. It is a rare gift to be able to make another feel like they are the only person in the world, to listen to them with their whole heart, and to make them feel truly special and loved. This ability came shining through in the service of remembrance. Aunt Anne loved and lived in the moment - an ability sought by many, but attained by few. Perhaps it was her deep faith in Jesus that gave her that strength. She didn't worry about the future or fret about the past - she lived in the now. She has re-joined her brothers, parents and dear husband. A great reunion of love, laughter and music on the far side banks of Jordan. So grateful for the life and legacy of this truly wonderful woman. So blessed to have had her as my aunt. Much love to all the family, and special thanks, as was mentioned, to Sandra and Norman for daily care during the days of lock-down. Till we meet again.
Veralyn Warkentin (daughter of Anne's brother, Ike)

Pre-Covid, but not too long before, I took my mother, Eva Neufeld, to the Niverville PCH from the attached Manor to attend a Sunday morning worship service. As we arrived, we saw your mom there. These two old friends were immediately drawn to each other, so we moved things around so that they could be seated next to each other. They didn't say a word to each other. There were just a bunch of beaming smiles. Your mom reached over and took my mom's hand. The two of them sat there, holding hands through the entire service. At one point, they both began laughing. Not a word had been exchanged. It was a beautiful, heartwarming moment, and morning. Thinking about you as you bid your mom goodbye. I have many warm thoughts of her hospitality as our huge family would descend on your house. Leona (Neufeld) Woodmass

Great story Leona. Thank you! Mom and I would periodically go up to second floor Atrium café for lunch and, if your Mom was around, she would always join us at some point, even if she had already finished eating. Sometimes I would leave them to visit for a while. Often your Mom would also join us to go for a walk and encourage my Mom to "slow down" so she would not get winded so fast and they could walk longer. My Mom tended to race! It was a joy to see these two good friends interacting.

Dan, Norm, Ron, Sandra and their families: So sorry for your loss. So glad for the hope and assurance we have in salvation! I was surprised that she always remembered my name! She would greet me at the PCH and then (in German) would proclaim to anyone willing to listen that I was Peter Krahn's daughter. We would then chat for a bit before I went to see my dad. Thoughts and prayers for the family. Dianna Warkentin

Thank you Dianna. Of course she remembered you! Condolences to on your dear father's passing. For a while my Mom, Erna and your Dad ate at the same table. It was good to see these fellow church members together there. I know my Mom appreciated these friendships very much.

To the entire Klippenstein clan: your mother was truly one of a kind. She was progressive yet traditional, honest but kind. I have long admired her gentle sweet spirit. She certainly left a legacy of love. My condolences to each one of you.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It is a hard thing to lose your last remaining parent. I will forever remember your Mom for her wonderful brown buns, that she always brought to family gatherings. I have the recipe, and I always call them 'Taunte Auna's Buns'. Wishing you as a family great peace, and strength, as you mourn your loss in these difficult days of covid restrictions.
