i met peter in the 1960 we were working for reimer express together and every time we were in montreal together he allways wanted to go down town and get the hottest peppers you could find and thenthe funnyest part was he latter years worked wih my son at greyhound william l pinchin ak willy it hit home as i too am 79 and born in 1942 june

Thank you for taking the time to comment. A lot changed in my Dad’s life after he stopped driving truck. I still remember him dressed in his Reimer Express Lines suit. There is still a suit in his closet. He was nostalgic. He liked his Rajas Rojas hot peppers from Mexico. It’s so special to hear he was looking for a taste of home when in Montreal. Tina

My deepest sympathies to the Reimer family. I loved Peter's visits to the CMC Office, where he was our resident expert on geneology. He always had time for a chat and to share his wisdom and opinions on so many things. He will be missed.

My condolences to Mrs. Reimer and the Reimer family. Mr. Reimer would offer me one of his reserved seats, when I would drive the Winkler flyers to play the Pistons. We cheered for different teams but always had a good visit. Mr. Reimer would ask how our trip was, road conditions and when parting ways, would wish us a safe trip home. R.I.P. My Dad used to drive for Greyhound Bus Lines. I can see him taking special notice of the bus driver and trying to make you happy you made the trip. Thank you for obliging him.

Good-bye, neighbour Pete. We lived across the street in Kleefeld from 1971 to 1975. You were good neighbours, and we'd like to see you, Agatha. Remember when Pete brought us each a taco? He told Agatha, "Make me five tacos." He brought them to us for dinner, and they were very good. One day little Greta was at our door. "Kaun ekj ni binaun?" Yo, Greta, wie habe noo ni banaun fi die.
