Our condolences to Uncle Bill's family.
Remembering riding along in the bread truck and visiting the store. It always brought a smile to my face, when Dad and Bill would call each other to remind the other the Jets were playing.
I will miss his big smile.

Our love and prayers to you all at this time of loss, reflection, and also laughter and rejoicing as you remember his life and his love. May you have great comfort knowing he is with his Saviour in glory. Uncle Bill was a good man with a twinkle in his eye and a ready smile, and always ready to tell a story.... Mom always spoke well of her brother Bill - he was a real encouragement to her (and to dad, who also really appreciated him). He specifically also encouraged her to write her book of Grosspapa and Grossmama Cornelius & Maria Friesen and family.
God bless and keep you all.

It is a GREAT honour today to pay tribute to a a truly GREAT man who we will hold forever in our hearts. In the Kingdom of God, greatness is not determined by how many serve one, but by how many one serves. Bill was a quiet man, but he was kind, gentle and merciful. Without even speaking, Bill radiated that with his eyes and with his countenance. Even a glance at his pictures on this page will testify to this truth. Without even saying a word, his face shone with the glory of Christ that was within him. As one brother said, "He did not know how to complain." He lived his faith, and we will forever cherish his memory as we anticipate an eternity together. Every blessing in Christ, now and forevermore, Roger and Marge Armbruster

Our condolences and prayers are with you as a family. Oh, we had a nice visit with Cousin Bill & Laura in AB and it was so special of them to visit Martin in Calgary Foothills Hospital in 2005 when Martin had Bacterial Meningitis. They even purchased a special greeting for his brother Neil for Martin. Martin even recalls that he worked for Bill &Olga on the farm for the month of Aug when he was young and he took Martin to Max Schuster’s in New Bothwell and bought him some winter clothes. So thoughtful and kind of him. He will be missed but we have fond memories. Martin & Elma Friesen

Marie and I remember Bill from his days delivering bread to stores and restaurants in the South East. He was a really nice guy and had a great sense of humour. Phil was just a young guy and he would often come along to help out. Our condolences to the family. Bill and Marie Sawatsky
