Our thoughts and prayers go out for the family. Psalm 46:1 "God is our (Your) refuge and strength; a very present help in time of trouble... loss, sorrow and grief.
Our God is Your Help and Comfort for Today;
Our God is Your Hope and Confidence for Tomorrow!
I have many fond memories of Uncle Neil. He had a good sense of humor and unque laugh.
My last visit with Uncle Neil was in the Bethesda Hospital.
I asked the lady at the desk " What room is Mr. Neil Wieler in... she says "let me check... there's no one here by that name"... "he's my uncle... my family say's that Uncle Neil is in here"... she ckeck's again... "Nope"... Well!... not a man that takes a "No" for an answer... "Well, how about Mr. Cornelius Weiler"... the lady kindly looks again and Bresto! Na Oba! Sure enough. Mr. Neil Wieler is the same guy as Mr. Cornelius Whieler!
I walks into his room and rather with emphasis say "Es dit Uncle Cornelius Veala"... "Oba Yo!... dot sure esa"! (Is this Uncle Corneliu Wieler... Yes!... It Sure Is! )
Well! We really had ourselves a good laugh, we talked about why we had changed our given name "Cornelius"..."Corny" for short... to "Neil"... the new Us! An interesting and amazing conversation persued.
We had a wonderful visit.I sure could tell He loved his Lord and Saviour. We shared Bible Verses, we prayed together:... for our families, for the salvation of our loved ones, for each each other and for God's continuous love, grace and mercy for our families.
RIP Uncle Cornelius "Neil"
Nephew and cousin Cornelius "Neil"

Oh, Neil, I am so happy for you! We missed you at our Monday sings here, (250 Main St. Grunthal apts.) when you moved to Vita. You always had a clear, bold witness of your love for Christ. And you are where you so longed to be. Thank you Neil, for the way you loved your God. If memory serves me right, the song you loved to sing, was, 'Jesus Saviour pilot me, over life's tempestuous sea.' Enjoy your new home!!
My deepest condolences to you the family.
