Obituary of Justina Dyck
Justina (Klassen) Dyck was born on March 1, 1928 in Waldheim, Mexico.
She married her husband Isaac Dyck in June 1947 in Mexico, and together, they had four children: two boys and two girls.
On March 24,1952, the family crossed the border into Canada and they had four more children having a total eight.
Justina learned to adjust to the new culture and language, embracing each challenge with great courage. She was a homemaker of the most extraordinary kind, baking breads and pastries, and sewing clothing and wedding gowns.
Justina was a woman of faith, trusting Jesus Christ as her Savior and setting a Godly example for her children. Justina had a gift of hospitality, taking in visitors and helping those less fortunate. Her door of her heart and her home were always open.
Justina lived a full life of 93 years, and on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, passed willingly and gently into the arms of Jesus.
She is survived by her four sons, four daughters, 25 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Justina was predeceased by her husband Isaac and one grandchild.
“You’ll know where to find me when I get to heaven, she said ....you’ll find me in the garden with Jesus , come look for me, because I’ll be there .”
A private family (by invitation only) funeral service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
