my condolences to the family.
Ken, my brothers, and sisters were neighbours and friends throughout our childhood. Our parents build a house next door to Ken's back in the mid 50s. My cousin Karen who along with her parents and sister lived a few houses down away just sent me this photo. It's of me, Karen, her sister Lori and Ken back in about 1962 or 62

I remember when Ken first started driving school bus. I was fortunate enough to work on his bus while I worked at Hanover School Division. Ken was always great to talk to and we as staff always appreciated when he brought us chinese food. We had many great laughs together.
Please accept my condolences.

Today I kissed your forehead for the very last time. We had one of our talks just like we used to when I was a little girl only, this time it was only me speaking. How badly I want to go back in time and relive one of those father/daughter moments with you. I’m so very grateful that I did get to have an opportunity to spend these last few years building a relationship with you. I was able to be my authentic self with you and vice versa I’d like to think. I keep thinking that I should call you. We never went more than a couple days without at least checking in on each other and I realize how truly special that was to me. I didn’t actually understand how difficult this was going to be until I had to walk away from you today. I would have sat with you all afternoon if I could have. You will always have a special place in my heart that is only for you, where I can go back and revisit some of those cherished moments that will be mine and yours forever. Im so grateful you are no longer suffering but so deeply sad that you aren’t here any longer. I still need my Daddy and always will. I love you and forever will Dad ❤️ Love your daughter, Tristen
