Barry & Ruth Rempel posted a condolence
Saturday, January 8, 2022
(Sorry for my late post.) It was a bittersweet moment when we heard the news of Garn Reimer's passing. There is joy in knowing he was ushered into heaven by his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, but there is the sadness of loss as well. Garn was always a great encouragement and friend to my (Barry) father, Leander Rempel. And it was our wonderful privilege to continue that friendship with him. Countless times in our missionary travels we were able to stop in for a visit, and Garn's interest in our work (and his smile!) would encourage our hearts. May God's grace and peace be yours as you celebrate Garn's life and legacy. Warmly in Christ, Barry & Ruth Rempel

We met Garnet & Margaret in the Wpg airport enroute to Hawaii some 20 years ago & shared many fond memories of Waikiki together during winter vacation trips always bringing us back to Waikiki. We remained friends for many years after our Hawaii trips. Our fond memories are filled with laughter, good food & wonderful stories. Both Garnet & Margaret always made you feel so very special when we were together. Both had such hearts of gold & you could always feel their love. What a wonderful couple to have touched our lives. With heartfelt sympathy to the family……Donn & Chris Marcus

Nothing seemed impossible and enjoyed it all . Will truly miss you , your friend Burt

I worked with Mr. Reimer at Fairway Ford back in 1985. He was always fun and friendly and I appreciated him a lot.

What a kind soul. Could never compete with his yard. He could float in the pool and read a newspaper that never got wet.
The Garn Burgers were the best.
Condolences to Perry and Marina, Marlin and Leanne, and family's.

Zany sense of humour, hard working, food lover, great boss. That’s Garnet in my opinion. Perry and Marlin, my condolences.

Garnet… quiet. Caring. Wise. Consistent. These are just a few words that come to mind when I think about Garnet. He didn’t like being called Mr Reimer. :) it was always so great to talk to him at Cornerstone Church. Holding his hymnal singing along. Then at gatherings, he’d be sitting off to the side watching people and feeling blessed. Garnet will be remembered for a long time - he has left quite a legacy! Praying for you Perry & Marina / Marlin & Leanne and family. Love you guys ♥️
