Dad was born on February 15, 1940, at St. Boniface Hospital. He grew up in Woodridge, MB. Dad spent over 30 years in the trucking industry. He enjoyed playing music and spending time with his family, he always loved to joke and tell stories about life and his many adventures. Dad was a dedicated Winnipeg Jet’s fan and would catch every game he could. Dad enjoyed playing music with fellow musicians whether it was on stage or in the kitchen.

Dad was a lifelong learner and avid reader. He would read the newspaper every day and enjoy a good novel. If you ever needed a pen, you could find one in Dad’s shirt pocket. After retirement, he spent his time as a loving foster parent. He spent the last of his retirement years with his son and grandson.

Special thanks to the Doctors, nurses, and staff at Steinbach Bethesda Hospital for the care that Dad received.

Dad was a remarkable man. He was foremost a family man. He was hardworking, a musician of multiple instruments and talents, and an amazing father.

We love you dearly Dad. We will carry you in our hearts forever. Say hi to Mom from all of us. Love you.
