Oh Mr. K, how I miss you coming in for lunch.. I knew from the very first time I met you how special you were. I am grateful that we got to meet each other, and will always think of you when I cut a carrot cake. Rest easy my friend. You are missed.

I'm greatful for all the memories. Great-uncle Ed was the sweetest man that I knew growing up. I always treasured his visits to my Grannies house (Minnie Engel)

Very well written story of your Dad’s life and a wonderful tribute of his faithfulness to God, with his family and community! We enjoyed our visits with him during our annual trips to Manitoba with our motorhome in summer. A few years ago he asked if he could see our motorhome. We took him for a ride to show it to him. Allan wanted to help him up the stairs & he was fiercely independent and said he was very capable of going up by himself. He was always genuinely interested in us and we will surely miss him. He was such an inspiration to many. We send our love and condolences!

Certainly an inspiring reflection of your Dad's life and thanks to the family for sharing it with us.
A true example of following God's promises with a gracious and humble heart.
My condolences to the family.

I have many special memories of your dad ,let me start by saying he was highly respected wherever he was involved,in the community, chicken or turkey board or church brotherhood. I have observed that when he got up to speak a few chosen words every one took note.

We, as the Kroeker family, have lost a true patriarch. I always felt that he truly loved and cared about the well-being of each and every one of us. I , as his niece, experienced this in many ways and many times, especially when I was the only member of my family living here in Manitoba. With Uncle Ed we knew we were loved. My condolences to Tim, Wayne, Terry, and Lynne and all your families. I’m sure uncle Ed is happier today than he has been since losing Aunt Tina. Barbara and John Friesen

So feeling your pain as you walk through this season.
My favourite memory
There was some event in Woodhaven. Your dad was there and we were having a conversation. One of my daughters came along wearing jeans that were quite worn - let’s say - all over!!! In your dads usual dry sense of humour he said to her - being a nurse I would have thought you could afford a new pair of jeans.
We laughed and laughed with him. It was a good time.
