Gordon was born in The Pas, MB on September 8th, 1958 and was the eldest son to MaryJane Bird Linklater and Henry Charles Linklater. They lived in Pakatawagan, Manitoba as a child and then moved to Winnipeg MB. He met the love of his life, Rita Mayner (my love) in the early 80s.
