Uncle Jimmy thank you for opening your home always and allowing me a safe place to live while in University. Your smile and jokes and deep laugh are going to be missed. I am sure you will be watching over us along with those already doing so. Be at peace.

Our Sincere Condolences to the Mateychuk family on Jimmy's passing. I really got to know him when he attended Slawna School when his late brother Peter taught at our little country one room school house (Slawna #1624) in Trentham. Jimmy was the nicest, kindest, generous, friendliest, funniest, and most positive person that I can remember. We didn't miss a Midnight Barn Dance at the family homestead in Zhoda in the mid 60's and 70's where Jimmy sold Hot Dogs & Drinks with a Big Huge Smile for their guests. Rest in peace!
