Braeden was born in Winnipeg, MB, on June 8, 2000. He lived in Winnipeg from birth to nine months. At nine months Braeden was placed in Simon and Neta’s home as a foster child and at the age of two he got adopted by them. He lived with his family in the rural area of Tolstoi from nine months, March 2001 to August 2015 at which time the family moved to the Grunthal area.

Braeden went to Shevcheko school in Vita, he homeschooled, he went to Steinbach Christian School and Green Valley school in Grunthal where he graduated in June 2018. Braeden loved to play sports and kept himself busy with that, he played soccer, hockey, volleyball and basketball. Braeden enjoyed spending his summers at Roseau River Bible Camp as a camper and later as a cabin leader.

Braeden got baptized upon the confession of his faith at the age 11, he went to Sunday School for many years and to the church youth.

During Braeden’s high school years he also worked for his Dad in the mechanic shop part-time. After high school graduation Braeden worked for Sparrows Construction for one summer (summer of 2018) the following winter he started working at Swift High Speed where he was employed until the end of 2021.

Braeden enjoyed hanging out with friends, playing board games with cousins, going fishing and hunting.

He loved his siblings so very much, he always made sure he bought them very nice gifts for their birthdays and for Christmas and he always made a  good effort in trying to come home for special events like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and birthdays. He also tried hard to come to extended family events.
