Our condolences to Helen and family, We got to know Dave & Helen when we moved to Blumenhof area in the1970's. I can still remember when Dave & Helen came to visit us there to welcome us and we have stayed friends over all these years even though we hardly ever got together. I remember Dave as a gentle person and Helen, a loving friend. It's always hard to lose parents but we rejoice with you that your father has entered his heavenly home - Psalm 116:15 Love & Prayers, John & Helen Schellenberg

Our son Graham married one of the Reimer granddaughters (Sarah) and immediately joined a large family who loved to be together! Whenever we have traveled from Ireland to visit Winnipeg we also felt warmly included by Grandma & Grandpa Reimer, whether it was a personal visit or large family gathering! Grandpa Reimer was a lovely man with strong faith! A generous man in word and deed! He will be well missed but we’re sure he’s now enjoying his eternal life with his Saviour! ✝️

My heartfelt sympathy goes to the extended family of David and Helen Reimer. Uncle David will live on in my memory as a wonderful and kind-hearted uncle. David was a younger brother of my deceased father, Peter Reimer. It was always fun to visit Uncle David and Aunt Helen in Canada, because their home and land provided for children. There wasn't a dull moment with many Reimer cousins to play with including David, Priscilla, Karen, Hannah, Margie, and Danny. Uncle David was soft spoken, encouraging to all, and a very smart business man. We knew he was wise and loved God, just by looking into his face. I am sad because he is the last of that generation of Reimer brothers and sisters to pass away. They were ten very special siblings and cared deeply for one another throughout their lives. They would visit one another between the U.S. and Canada, and stayed connected over the miles and the years. He leaves a legacy of love, faith, and service. Even those of us who didn't have the opportunity to see him in these recent years will always remember him as a shining light.

My deepest condolences to the David Reimer family! I remember Uncle Dave as a very kind, giving & gentle uncle. His smile would always let me know he could be trusted. He was never ashamed of his faith in God! I will never forget when I as a young child who was afraid of turkeys, when Uncle Dave took my hand and led me to the turkey barn to show me turkeys were not to be feared. I did not see him very often in my adult years, and as the saying goes, I regret that! Rest in peace, my dear Uncle.

My condolences to the family.
I met Mr Reimer when I was playing for the Singing Grandpa's. He was always encouraging, and thoughtful when he spoke with me, I appreciated his soft spoken wisdom. His faith, and thankfulness to his Heavenly Father were always a part of our conversation.

Sympathies to the Reimer family on the passing of Mr. Reimer. David and many of the other Singing Grandpas would make the drive out to Vita each month to the Vita Personal Care Home for an afternoon of singing gospel songs. It’s only now reading his obituary that I learn that he had family in the area. Sympathies to the Brandt family as well on the passing of your father/father in law and grandpa. He was a great man and we enjoyed his regular visits to the PCH. Rest In Peace!
