We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Alexander Andres, age 36, of Mitchell, MB., on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
He is survived by his beloved wife Irina and four young children, his parents, a brother, and sister. He will also be lovingly remembered by his mother and father-in-law and his sisters and brothers-in-law and niece and nephews, as well as many relatives and friends.
Alex was born in Russia on January 12,1986, and raised in Germany. He gave his life to Jesus at a young age, got baptized at 17 and served at his church with great commitment. He had a deep passion for missions and spent a lot of his spare time helping refugees and sharing the Gospel with them.
In the year 2015, he and his family moved to Canada, where he spend the last 7 years, loving on his family, growing friendships, and sharing many adventures with them! He always made time for his children and wife, family, and friends. His children were his priority and joy! Anyone who knew Alex, knew he loved the outdoors and spending time with his sons on the trails.
Even in his struggle with deep depressions he held onto Jesus and sought opportunities to serve at the Steinbach Community Outreach Center.
He will be missed greatly!
