We had the honour of Harry Bergen marrying us on our wedding day in August 2021. A couple weeks before the wedding we had a chat with Mr.Bergen and Mrs.Bergen about marriage. I will always cherish that time I spent with them, and remember the amazing person he was.

Condolences to the family. Praying for you.
Mr Bergen was My friend from church. He always made a point to connect with the youth of the church and he wanted everyone he met to know that they needed salvation and they need Jesus. I think he talked to everyone at youth camp at least a few words. This past year at camp, his health wasn't the best I spent a lot of time visiting with him that weekend. I'm thankful that I could go see him yet Dec 31.
I had talked with him for quite a while about coming down for night and then we could just talk and have a good time. In June of 2022 I stayed there 1 night. We talked and ate ice cream that evening it was a good time we walked around the yard and he showed me some things I will never forget that time I really felt blessed and encouraged.
May the God of all comfort give you peace as you (the family) move on in this life.
God keep you and bless you.
Psalm 23:1-6 KJV
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. [2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. [3] He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. [4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. [5] Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

I send my condolences to Mrs.Bergern and her family.
Mr. Bergen was my Sunday school teacher, youth leader and he was also the pastor who taught baptism class, which I was attending and at the end of all of this I asked Mr Bergen if he would be my mentor after baptism. His answer was most definitely. I always enjoyed his services he taught from the pulpit. He was a great teacher to have. He set a great example to others. Just a few memories I have of him. I have more but to many to write on here. Praying for you as a family for peace and comfort from our Lord.
