Obituary of Ruthe Hiebert

Ruthe Hiebert (Doerksen) was born June 19, 1969, in Paraguay to her parents Heinrich and Tina Doerksen.  She was baptized on the confession of her faith on May 21, 1991.  She was married to the love of her life, Rudolf Hiebert on September 1, 1991.

They lived in Canada for the past three years.  She was diagnosed and suffered with cancer for the last 16 months.

She leaves to mourn her dear husband Rudolf, her mother, three sisters, seven brothers, three brothers-in-law, seven sisters-in-law, her father-in-law, many nieces, nephews, and friends.  One brother and sister-in-law with their family live in Canada, and the rest of her family is in Paraguay.

She was predeceased by her father and mother-in-law.

We would like to thank for each and every prayer, all the help, meals, and cards.  We would also like to give special thanks to CancerCare, Palliative Care and Birchwood Funeral Chapel for all the care we were given.

Viewing will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., with a devotional at 7:30 p.m., at Reinland Mennonite Church, Grunthal, MB. 

The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 1:30 p.m., at Reinland Mennonite Church, Grunthal, MB., with interment to follow at the church cemetery.
