Erna and I extend our condolences to Ken and the family. We knew Roxanne through school. She was a student teacher in my class and later Erna subbed in her class in Mitchell many times. She was always very appreciative of what Erna did as a sub in her class.

I had the pleasure of working with Roxanne at Mitchell School several years ago when she was teaching music. You could tell that she loved working with her students and I truly admired her patience with all of them. She was always smiling. Our condolences to Ken and the boys.

Roxanne played the piano when her mom Helen led our choir back in grade school and no one could play Jerusalem like no one else. She was a beautiful person inside and out and I can tell by the obituary she was the same sweet Roxy. May God shelter the family in the shadow of His wings and fill you will His love and strength in the days ahead (cheryl Stoesz)

I lost touch with Roxanne when we were teens. We corresponded by mail for years. I always thought we’d get together sometime. I know we will, just not on “this side”. My condolences to the family. I enjoyed our friendship

Andrew and I extend our sympathies to Uncle Ken and cousins David and Stefan. Rox is ever a pure delight and I feel so lucky, honoured and blessed to be able to call her my Aunt, and shares a perfect birth date with Andrew and my niece. I will always remember her long hair, writing postcards back and forth to her in Europe, grinding the gears in the Westfalia (don't tell Ken, she said) while going for ice cream at West Hawk Lake, swimming in the pool, baby sitting cats, watching Muppets for the first time, and, of course, easily slipping from piano to organ at church services, and many more great Hiebert family gathering memories. She will be deeply missed by all her nieces and nephews.

Darrel and I extend our deepest condolences to you, Ken and your family. We were recipients of the joy and passion Roxanne expressed in her music. I particularly loved when she pushed the music to a jazz tempo. You could feel her happiness at the organ or piano. She will be missed by many in so many different aspects of her life.
