I’m so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. Heaven has gained another Angel. I have only fond memories of Bill. May God give you all the strength needed to get through his loss. It was a beautiful service. I especially loved Hans’s memories of his grandpa living with him in St.Pierre about the slide he made and iced as it brought back fond memories for me too as I grew up in the house Maxine lived in and in winter we used to also ice that hill. My condolences to all his children and grandchildren and extended family and friends who all loved him. May He Rest In Peace. You are loved and will forever be missed.

Tatay (a Father) William as we call him will be greatly missed. His strong presence at Siloam kitchen with a loud-fatherly voice magnifies love and sweetness that is distinctly William. His sweet smile is beyond words , un-explainable and contagious. We will never feel your tight, loving embrace anymore but I know Tatay William that your spirit and love will still surround Siloam kitchen that you have loved as well. We will miss you, this is absolutely real and for us, the kitchen staff whom you have loved as your own will never forget that somehow, we have had you! We love you Tatay William!!

William,
You will be missed by many especially your presence at Siloam doing tickets nor scooping soup on the serving line.
Your comedy jokes and words of wisdom will surely be missed.
Thanks for the cookies and wine mostly at Christmas time…
William… you will always be remembered.
Rest in Peace my beloved friend and prayers to your bereaved families.

Sending condolences to Bill’s family. I appreciated Bill. He and I (LillyAnne) felt a closeness as cousins. He was always friendly and loved to share his stories and opinions. The obituary was beautifully written— appreciated the mention of my mother, Jessie, as a special Aunt to him and the many interesting anecdotes of his life. Thinking of you all as you celebrate Bill’s life and mourn the loss.

It was an honour to know you and work with you. Thank you for 12 beautiful years volunteering at Siloam’s kitchen. The entire kitchen team will surely miss you. Rest in paradise.

We knew William from the time we spent serving with him at Siloam Mission. We would be finishing up our breakfast shift when William would show up for the lunch shift. He was a gentle man with years of experience, stories to tell and always an upbeat attitude. There was a never a dull moment around him. His dedication to Siloam was only matched by his cooking abilities. We will miss him. - John & Lenore Hodge

Bill Reimer was our good friend for 41 years. Denna and I moved to Steinbach in 1982 to serve as C. E. and Youth Pastor at Emmanuel EFC, which is where I met Bill and his family. In 1989 we moved from B. C. to Minocqua, Wisconsin, as did Cameron and his bride, Kathy. On days when Bill was in town visiting we would get together for a meal. On holiday’s we were at our place or theirs.
Bill Reimer was a good man, a borne again Christian and is walking on streets of gold right now. Miss him.
