Obituary of Katherine Doerksen

Katherine Brandt Doerksen, nee Klassen was born March 29, 1920. She died on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Rest Haven Care Home, Steinbach, MB. 

She is survived by siblings Peter Klassen, Lillian (Lorne) Loewen, in-laws John Plett and Rose Klassen and many nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by a sister-in-law and sisters, Agnes, Mary, Betty, Annie, Gertie and their spouses and brother Jake, her parents, two nephews, one niece and two great-nephews. 

She was also predeceased by her first husband Peter W. Brandt. She is survived by Alvin, Betty (Glen) Klassen, Doris Friesen, Waldo (Lorraine), Lavina (Richard) Kroeker, Dennis (Janet) and their families. Predeceased by in-laws Esther Brandt and Fred Friesen.

She was predeceased by her second husband Jac P. Doerksen.  She is survived by John (Agnes), Phil (Carol), Sara, Pauline (Gerry) Hoorman, Henry (Lorena), Gerald, Delia (Sam) Baidoo and their families. Predeceased by Myrtle, Ray, Lydia and in-laws Judy Doerksen and John Knight.
