Obituary of Leonard Hildebrandt

Leonard Hildebrandt won his battle against illness and passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2024, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

He was born on June 17, 1952, Len grew up in New Bothwell with a gift for mechanics. He was well known for his determination, wit, ingenuity and his “never beat around the bush” personality.

Leonard is survived by his daughter Melissa (Mark) Thiessen and his sister Linda.

He was predeceased by his parents, Abe and Anne Hildebrandt, brother Stanley and brother-in-law Brian.

A special thank you to all his friends and neighbours that were such active and appreciated participants in his life.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. To join the family via livestream, please click HERE shortly before the service.
