Obituary of Ronald Benoit

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our wonderful father, husband, and Papa, Ron Benoit, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in his favourite spot, the sunroom. He was so happy to finally be back in the sunroom in his chair. 

Ron was born and raised in Greenway MB. The family moved to St Boniface when he was eight years old. After graduating from Louis Riel Collegiate, Ron began his working career with his dad at Eaton's in furniture. With his vibrant personality, he developed many lifelong friendships. 

In 1973, Ron and Pat married and soon started their family with their beautiful daughters, Nikki and Toni. Our dad taught us the meaning of hard work. He also showed us what a good man was. He was a great inspiration for owning and working your own business.  Dad was a great cook and made the best BIG breakfasts. Papa loved spending time with his family. He loved to laugh and to make us laugh, too. 

Later on, Ron and Bev met. Together, they enjoyed traveling and living in the country. Eventually, they married June 12, 2015. They were Currently living in La Broquerie, MB. Ron would like to say that every day was a gift. 

He loved cracking jokes, always pretending he didn't hear us, he loved to get us riled up. One thing Ron loved the most was decorating for Christmas and having his family over. Every square inch got covered with Christmas. We will miss him immensely. 

He was predeceased by his parents Tony and Madeliene Benoit, Grandparents De Riviere & Benoit, Grandson Bohdi Benoit.

Left to Cherish his memory, his wife Beverly & her family: Mark and Amber, Karl, Kami, Matt (Cora) grandkids Corman, Ethan (Sydney), and Ruby (Tuesday as he always called her), Lynzee, Violette, Wyatt, and Lexi (Austin). Great grandkids Ryder and Madi.

And of course, his beautiful Daughters, Nikki Buchannon (Jamie), Toni Benoit (Bradley): Grandsons Casey Benoit, Branden Benoit and Nethaniel Benoit: Granddaughters Emma Benoit and Lilli Benoit.
