After a courageous battle with cancer, Mike Nazar passed away at the Ste. Anne Hospital on June 24, 2013 at the age of 83. He is survived by Helen, their sons: Brian (Lorna), Barry (Heidi), and Brad (Candice Bergenda); his grandchildren: Ryan (Lynette), Kyle, Tyler, Liam, Tristen, Hailey, and Harlee; great-grandchildren: Alexander and Katrina. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 2, at 10:00 a.m. at the Reynolds Community Club, Prawda, with interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Prawda. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mike may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
