It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charlene (Bonnie) Friesen. After a lengthy battle with cancer, Charlene went home to be with Jesus at the age of 42. Charlene is survived by her mother, Theresa Kis (Henri), her sisters Connie (John) and April (Kenny); two nieces, Cassie (Kaz), Bailey, and one nephew Brody. Charlene was predeceased by her father Cornie W. Friesen. A special heartfelt thank-you to all the amazing staff at the Bethesda Hospital for their compassion and support. A celebration of Char’s life will be held on Saturday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. If friends so desire donations may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
