Our mother, Katherine (Kay) Harder, was promoted to glory peacefully at 6:20 a.m. on September 9th, 2013, at the age of 84 years and 8 months at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, Manitoba. She was born on January 6th, 1929 to Peter and Olga (Jabs) Vogt at Teddington, Saskatchewan. Celebrating her life are daughter Wendy (Landis) Dirks, grandson Myron (Ammi) Dirks and granddaughter Lisa Dirks, daughter Bev (Reg) Hertz, grandson Daniel (Erin) Hertz and great grandchildren Colby and Audrey Hertz, granddaughter Larissa (Dale) Pereira and great-granddaughter Maya Pereira, son Brian (Shiela) Harder, granddaughter Amie (Dawson) Friesen, great-grandchildren Sarah, Megan, Kasey and Jordan Friesen, Matthew Harder, Shaun (Alisa) Harder, Cody Harder, son in law Walter (Sal) Dueck, granddaughter Kara (Mike) Bange, great-granddaughters Mikaela and Haley Bange and grandson Anthony Dueck. Meeting her in heaven are her husband Abe, her daughter Elaine Dueck and her grandsons Jeff Dueck and Jared Hertz. Her Funeral Service will be held at Christian Fellowship Church, 417 Hanover St, Steinbach on Thursday, September 12th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mac Dumcum officiating. Viewing to be held prior to the service. Interment at Heritage Cemetery. If friends so desire donations may be made to World Vision Canada.
