Hassan Madjid passed away peacefully to Abha' Kingdom on September 27th, 2013. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. Burial will take place at 11:00 am. Friends who wish to join us, can meet us at 10:45 am at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life service and a reception at 1:00 pm at the same location. Dad is survived by his former wife Ezzat Monghate, daughters Zhila (Larry) & Zhinous (Kevin) and four grandchildren Justin, Nicholas, Keon and Kelden. He also leaves behind many friends. He was born in Sangesar, Iran in 1934 and moved to Turkey with his family in 1966 and then again in 1975 to teach his faith. He moved to Canada with his family in 1986 where he resided until his final days. He was an artist who loved calligraphy, painting and his professional stamp collection. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home and the Palliative Team at St. Boniface Hospital.
