Jake Neufeld, 78, of Mitchell, formerly of Niverville, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013 peacefully at his residence with his family at his side. He is survived by his wife Helen, one daughter, two sons, two step-daughters, six step-sons, one sister, four brothers and their families. He was predeceased by his first wife Marie. The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. at the Niverville Chortitzer Mennonite Church with burial at Hespeler Cemetery, Niverville. Viewing will be at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, October 15 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
