Jeanette Marie Prasek, nee Daignault, 87, of Vassar, MB passed away October 20th, 2013. Jean passed away unexpectedly at Roseau Hospital, Roseau, Minnesota. She is survived by her son, Larry (Lynn) Prasek and her daughter, Beatrice Hebel. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and three siblings: Yvonne Desjardins of Winnipeg, Omer Daignault of Regina, and Henriette Pawluk of Calgary. She is predeceased by her husband, John Prasek, her mother and father, Aldea and Frank Daignault and nine siblings: Lucienne Daignault, Germaine Bannerman, Raoul Daignault, Gordon Daignault, Cecile Saltys, Theresa McAuley, Laura Blanchard, Teddy Daignault, and Dennis Daignault. Jean will always be remembered for her generous spirit and her devotion to her family. A memorial mass will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Vassar, Manitoba. Ash interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeanette’s memory may be made to the St.Boniface Hospital Research, 351 Tache Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2H 2A6.
