Obituary of Raymond John Stott

Tragically on April 6th at the age of 61, Raymond Stott was taken from us. He was a father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and great friend to many. He is survived by his parents Jack and Margaret Stott, Louise, his children, Jo-Anne, Christopher, Kristal and his cherished grandson Adam as well his brothers and sisters, Gary (Doris), Elaine, Louise (Burt), Kevin (Marlene), Jeff (Mona), Michael (Ida), Donald (Laurie), and many nieces and nephews. Dad was an intelligent, caring, generous, hardworking man. He enjoyed gardening (canning in particular) and was known for leaving fresh vegetables for family and friends in the community. He also loved crosswords, yard work, and leisurely drives around town. He will be greatly missed by all, especially his long time friend and co-worker, Eldon. The funeral service will be held Friday, April 15th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Niverville Heritage Centre, 111-2nd Ave South in Niverville, MB. Following the service, a lunch will be served in the Atrium of the Heritage Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society, 10 – 120 Donald Street; Wpg., MB R3C 4G2.
